I like to think of nutrition as a symphony.
An orchestra can play the most beautiful sounding music, yet the scores seem quite difficult to understand. We each have a favorite song, and most are quite different in sound and genre.
In each case, there remain only these simple notes that create all of the musical sounds we hear: A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. Seven notes, that’s it.
These seven notes can be arranged in an endless pattern to create the most amazing melodies and rhythms that move us in ways we can’t explain.
Nutrition works the same way.
Naturally occurring nutrients and plant compounds exist in nature.
We know many of them as Vit-A, Vit-B, Vit-C, Vit-D, Vit-E and so on. Which in musical terms we can understand as a beginner piano student to play songs like ‘Row, Row, Row Your Boat’ and ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’ with ease. Then we step into the orchestra section of plant compounds and human organs and things are not so simple anymore, right?
Food products that contain naturally occurring ingredients can become complex when trying to decide which foods will really benefit the health of your body’s organs.
Personally, when I was filing for the patent on my food products and creating my nutrition labels, I naturally went to the food pyramid/plate to review the governments recommended daily requirements. I found that I could download a pdf file of over 164 pages and do some light reading on the topic. I still to this day have not read that document. I sat back and wondered how many other people have not read their personally downloaded pdf file either.
When I am in the grocery store after work it doesn’t seem likely that I’ll be pulling out that pdf file to help me choose the right foods for my personal favorite song, and my favorite song tends to change over time. Understanding nutrition should NOT be this complicated.
Yet the fact remains, our bodies have actual requirements to sustain a healthy life.
That’s when I created the HARMONIC SYSTEM ©.
I don’t know about you, but when I head to the grocery store my body has aspirations of the world’s next greatest opera in mind. I get there and don’t have time to read 52,000 labels. There’s no ‘how-to’ section of the grocery store that shows me what I need. So I run around and get this sauce and that flavor, and oh my: “pre-cooked, pre-seasoned, just zap it in the microwave & DONE!”……add to cart. Then I walk away from the checkout and hear my grocery bags singing “Three Blind Mice’ every time.
But I got a pre-mixed salad and salad dressing, doesn’t THAT count as nutritious!!??
Well my friends, I’ve learned a thing or two in the past decade. The result is now on full display. I title it the HARMONIC SYSTEM © and for my products I illustrate the PHYSIOLOGY OF FRUIT.

I recon fruit like this:
Say you’re going to build a house. You get the wood all measured and cut. You’ve got your nails at hand and you’re ready to start framing the walls. You reach down toward your tool belt and realize you don’t have a hammer. How are you going to put it together without a hammer?
To your body, fruit is your hammer. I see fruit as a FOOD PRIMER. Ahhh, the mystery of fruit! It’s what you need to digest your food properly and keep your body in optimal health. Once you know this, nutrition actually becomes quite simple! So, let’s hammer out a happy tune together!
Now let’s get a bit techno for a minute:
You have 7 glands +3 in your body. The most important is in your head at the base of your brain and its called the HYPOTHALUMUS GLAND (H). It functions like the CPU chip of your entire body. Without it, things will get out of tune and fast.
Next, you have your PITUITARY GLAND (P) right near your (H).
The (H) sends commands to your (P). Your (P) then sends out all the detailed instructions to all other parts of your body, including all your other glands and organs.
In medical terms, there exist 78 organs that make up 12 organ systems. We all have exactly the same stuff inside.
I think the medical arrangement is stupid when it comes to how I view my nutrition. It may be nice for a surgeon, but it’s not going to help me decide if I should eat more pickles or olives this week while I’m standing in the condiment aisle of the supermarket.
So I rearranged everything and composed my own symphony.
Here is how the HARMONIC SYSTEM © works:
We start with a graphic illustration of human anatomy and food nutrition symbols. The human anatomy is arranged into unique groups unlike any medical analysis. The nutrients and plant compounds of the food product are assigned musical symbols.
The nutritional values of a specific food product are then reviewed and assigned symbols representing the specific areas of the human anatomy that the nutrition will most benefit.
All of the symbols of the human anatomy and the musical symbols of the nutrients and plant compounds are then arranged on a musical staff.
The musical staff has two sections. First is the melody which represents the primary health benefits of a food product. Second is the rhythm which represents the non-primary health benefits of a food product.
A consumer of a food product can then easily discern from the illustrated musical staff which product will most improve the health of their desired area of interest.
